I have to admit that I’m not much of a shopper. But I love to go to World Market!

Seriously. My mom and I went by World Market over Thanksgiving so that I could scope out a few things for my Christmas list, and I wanted about half of the store! Absolutely love their style and the amazing merchandise they carry — from the yummy gourmet foods, to their scarves and jewelry, to everything home decor, and of course, to their amazing kitchen section! About half of the dishes you see me using on the blog are from World Market, and I love using all of their linens and other kitchen appliances when I cook and entertain. So fun!

So of course, I’m thrilled that today’s giveaway is for a $50 World Market giftcard! Oooh, I’m already excited to see what you might purchase. (And note that this giftcard works in stores AND online!)

    I love shopping at World Market. You always find something new! They have a great wine and beer selection, plus food from places I never would have tried otherwise! I’d probably spent the gift card on their great food selection!

    I have had my eye on a couple throw pillows at my local World Market. Winning this World Market gift card would just about pay for 2 of them. Plus it’s the only place outside of New Zealand that I have found Arnott’s Tim Tams (a great cookie that’s especially good with hot coffee or hot chocolate).

    I was so excited to see that World Market has almost a whole page of teapots! I love unique teapots and mugs, so I would probably buy the blue koi fish teapot!! I would also buy the set of 2 round glass chalk jars. I love the idea of little chalk tags for the jars, so cute!

    I love that World Market sells McVities which I ate my weight in during a 3 week trip to Europe. Would have to stock up on some of those! I also love a lot of their home decor products!

    Here are some world market wishes: a set of ramekins, a microplane zester, whole vanilla beans from the spice section, Gypsy coconut-chai tea. Sophia Coppola’s Blanc de Blanc white wine would be a treat for New Years, and last but certainly not least, a Vosges haut-chocolat bar. Any of these things would be greatly appreciated by this foodie and World Market enthusiast. Thank you!!!

    What I would LOVE to buy at World Market is some new and exotic spices and seasoning, gift baskets (who doesn’t love getting Christmas presents in the form of food?) and some of those super cute stemless wine glasses with the white Christmas tree pattern on them…perfect for the holiday spirit.

    My favorite thing to do at World Market (here in KC) is to go through all the little bins of interesting food items and pick out unusual things or just things hard to find elsewhere. (“Oooh, vegemite! We have to try that!”)

    I love world market. I lived close to one in Charleston, and the giant pillow I got there is still one of my favorite decoration/seating in the house. I need more seating. And more baking pans!

    GAH! World Market has now become my obsession, above target- which is saying a lot! I don’t know what I’d buy, they always have such great seasonal products- as well as kitchen ware. I would probably buy some items for a Christmas party that we’re having!

    Oh my, these are such great giveaways Ali! I love World Market (kind of dangerous since we live right next to one!). I always get Jason the Taverner’s Wine Gums – he loves them! Their holiday selection this year is really cute too. Definitely going to be getting some stocking stuffers from there this year. :)

    Their holiday decorations were adorable! I saw lots of cute owl items. Also, their price on olives was really reasonable! And I love moscato wine! So that’s what I’d get!

    Most of the dishes and serving platters we own are more oriental/Asian-esque. & sometimes they serve their purpose and has a very unique style in pictures as well, but most of the time it really doesn’t fit well with some of the dishes I do make for my newbie blog pictures. So, I would definitely go towards the plates, chargers, platters, etc to get my modern/simplistic fix.

    I would love to buy a TON of foreign candies that I got used to while in Africa. They get a lot of the same candies as Europe. My favorite are those Bounty bars with the coconut… I get one every time I’m at a World Market as a special treat. I’d also buy a lot of nice coffee for my husband and some rooibos tea for myself.
