blogiversary giveaway: cooks illustrated cookbook!

***This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for participating!***

Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday to you… Happy birthday dear……..

G – G – G – Gimme Some OV-EN!

Yeah!!! It’s true — exactly one year ago, this little site was born. And a year later, 180 posts later, countless recipes tried and enjoyed (and of course, a few flops that didn’t quite make it to the site!) later … I’m just so honored that you all are still here! :-)

I know I’ve said it before, but my absolute favorite part about this whole endeavor has been getting to connect with you!! I still get so excited every time my little “comment” alert pops up, or hear from family, coworkers, or friends (or friends-of-friends, or friends-of-friends-of-friends) who are tuning into the site. Love getting the chance to be connected to you, and to be walking alongside one another in celebrating life, and this delicious art we’re forever learning about and (hopefully most of the time!) enjoying called….cooking.

So as a thanks to you, wanted to celebrate this first blogiversary with a cookbook giveaway! For those who have been tuning in recently, you know I’m a huge fan of Cooks Illustrated, and especially of their “New Best Recipe Cookbook“! 1,000 pages of brilliance. :) Seriously, I think every cook should have this in their kitchen. I have yet to find a recipe of theirs I don’t love, and perhaps more, have learned so much from all of their articles, tips, and illustrations. LOVE. IT.

Details to enter are below — good luck!

Thanks again to each of you for a great first year. Looking forward to hopefully many more to come! :)

***This giveaway is now closed. Thanks to everyone for participating, and congrats Kasie!***
