giveaway: 6-piece grater set

For the conclusion to “Zucchini Week”, thought it was only appropriate to do a giveaway of the tool I used about a zillion times this week — a grater!
Although this isn’t your typical grater. I don’t know about any of you, but I’ve never been a huge fan of vertical box graters. The angle never feels that natural or comfortable, and the grater occasionally slips out of place. So for a giveaway, thought it would be fun to offer this 6-piece Progressive International grater. As you can see, it sits flat, and has four interchangeable graters you can pop in and out. Simple, and quite functional (especially for grating zucchini!!!).

I like this zucchini parmesan recipe! I made a marmalade this year that was really good! Zucchini, pineapple, orange…I made extra to gift to neighbors come the holidays! YUM!
The soup looked so tasty! That’s the one I want to make. But I also love making carrot cake with zucchini instead of carrots.

The Chocolate zucchini cake, hands down. But an old stand-by is zucchini bread. My mom made it from a recipe on an old Parkay container (long lost) when I was a kid and it was love at first sight.
My very favorite was the Zucchini Parmesan….delicious! I also love to bake breakfast muffins and the zucchini-carrot are so good. I am a lover of zucchini, so appreciate all of this weeks treats.
Well my favorite recipe would definitely be the chocolate zucchini cake, I love the “healthyness” to it!

my favorite way to use zuchini is in chocolate brownies or a quick bread or grated into an omelette. yuhm!

I recently made some zucchini enchiladas. They were great! It’s a good way to have some Mexican style food when you’re vegetarian and it gets away from the typical spinach and cheese!
My favorite recipe is zucchini parmesan! I also really love to make gluten free zucchini walnut bread!

Tried the zucchini parmesan this weekend! Loved it! It was a perfect compliment to pork tenderloin cuts that were done on the grill. We missed planting a garden this year as my husband was just coming home from Afghanistan in July….I KNEW I’d never plant and keep up with a garden on my own, and I knew I wouldn’t be worried about all the vegetables coming on when he got home! ;) Can’t wait to plant again next year…thanks for all the ideas of how to use up that zucchini!!
