giveaway: foodie art prints

As many of you Facebook followers know, I happen to be a huge fan of a particular artist — my 25-year-old sister, Sarah! In addition to being quite the foodie and talented cook herself, she is also an incredibly talented painter (and drawer, sculptor, fashion-designer…you name it). Yep. While the rest of use were drawing stick figures growing up, she was the kid whose drawings of people actually looked like people. :) So it came as no surprise that she recently graduated with a degree in art education. I love that a new generation of kids will get to have such an inspiring teacher!

Anyway, for a fun project this past year, Sarah has begun painting a series based on food blog photos (many from this site!). When the response to them ended up being so positive, she recently launched a new site to sell some of the originals and prints, starting at just $12.95. (And for any of you out there who have photos you love or like original prints, she also does great commissions!) I can’t wait for you to see her work!

So for this week’s giveaway, the winner gets to choose their favorite art print. Exciting! Read on for details, and please show Sarah’s new site and Facebook page some foodie love… :)

    Oh my, these are all so amazing! I am absolutely in awe of how beautiful these paintings are! It’s so difficult to pick a favorite as they are all lovely, but I am partial to the Black Forest Cupcakes. What beautiful work, truly!

    Absolutely amazing! I am currently attempting to acquire a small business loan in order to open a cupcake truck in my area. But, living in a resort town is really making it hard as they do not love food trucks! SO, obviously I am totally in love with these paintings and LOVE the black forest painting!

    I’m not sure if I can choose a favorite between the Blue Teacup and the Vanilla Caramel Cupcake. Tea and cupcakes are 2 of my favorite things ever!

    I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the Black Forest Cupcakes print. They look like the perfect cupcake & I’m a sucker for a bright red cherry on top.

    I think it’s great you are promoting your sister! She’s incredibly talented! I like “Pomegranate” and “Black Forest Cupcakes” the best, although they are all quite lovely!
