This year I decided that since we purchased a 1976 VW Bus we should feature it in our Christmas cards! Our friend Aaron Phelps took some Anniversary/Christmas photos for us this past fall and so I printed out some copies of those and then from there had my theme!

Here is what I used:

  • Pack of 50 cards/envelopes (got mine at Hobby Lobby)
  • Stamp Pad
  • Bus Stamp (Made this)
  • Christmas Stamp (Michaels)
  • Alphabet Stamps
  • Washi Tape
  • Photos (Printed my own)

As I mentioned above, the bus stamp I actually made on my own (tutorial coming later this week!) but you could use any stamp you want! These cards were very simple and ended up being really inexpensive to make. If you have some blank cards and a couple Christmas stamps on hand you are set!

And I couldn’t resist making a couple pinterest friendly images with the stamp :)  Because you know, home is where your bus is!

Hopefully this gave you a little inspiration to make your own Christmas cards if you haven’t already sent yours out! We usually hand deliver our cards so my procrastination on mailing isn’t really an issue… but I’m sure people would still love to receive a handmade card even after Christmas! :)

Anyone else still making/sending out Christmas cards? I am running VERY behind this year and haven’t even wrapped one present! EEK!
