Allow me to introduce you to one of my all-time favorite kitchen tools — a Microplane zester! Mine was actually a stocking stuffer from “Santa” years ago when I was graduating from college. I think that he knew better than I did what essentials I would need to stock my first kitchen!! Of course, years and hundreds of zests later, it is definitely the kitchen tool I cannot do without. For zesting fruits, grating herbs and cheese, and so much more, it definitely works like a pro.
Then about a year ago, I picked up one of Microplane’s newer products — an herb mill! What does an herb mill do, you might ask? Quite simply, it finely chops fresh herbs! And it does a great job!! I use mine constantly, especially when garnishing a dish. (Check out what a great job it did on this pizza). Best of all, it is quick, simple to clean, and a nice alternative to chopping a zillion herbs by hand. Love it. Love Microplane!

oh my….this would have to be it…the herb mill….I have just about chopped my finger off, chopping up my fresh herbs that I grow in my garden, and it takes so much time. THIS…THIS I need. Santa…are you listening????

I’ve never seen the Microoplane herb mill, but it looks like it’d be a huge time saver for adding cilantro or basil when whipping up a meal (and I pretty much add those to anything I can!).

I don’t have a favorite, because i haven’t tried one yet. I have my eyes on the Microplane Specialty Series Cut Resistant Glove though.
I haven’t ever seen these, but they look really useful! The herb mill looks especially useful! I love getting ideas for Christmas gifts from here. You always have such neat giveaways!

I love my micro plane zester! Use it for citrus zest, garlic, ginger, nutmeg!
I have always wanted the full set of microplanes, the one with all the various sizes of graters. It’s on my holiday list again this year! :)

I am a terrible chopper and would love the spice mill. I have a small grater I use for nutmeg and feel so “professional” with I grate my nutmeg.

I always skip things like zest and fresh herbs. I believe this would make it a reasonable amount of work to zest a citrus fruit.
The Zester and the Spice Mill would be wonderful to use with my box garden Herbs!

This is a new introduction to Microplane products for me. After seeing this, I’ve started my wish list!
My favorite microplane product is..I have no idea! Never heard of it! But I send a lot of time in my kitchen and that spice mill would be SO useful! I am always chopping herbs up by hand and it is a pain.

My favorite product is the microplane zester! Perfect for adding some extra flavor and freshness into any dish! And works great for some freshly grated cheese!
