The Gimme Some Oven giveaways continue today with this sweet 6-quart Red Roaster Oven from Nesco.

What does a roaster oven do, you might ask? Well, it pretty much does everything your oven does except broil. It bakes (with adjustable temperature controls up to 425 degrees F), steams, and of course, slow cooks. Amazing! You can use it to make everything from roast beef, to stews, to seafood, rice, veggies, lasagna, meatloaf, desserts, and even bread. My kind of multi-tasking appliance. :)

  1. I would love to use this roaster oven to slow cook lots of stuff. I’ve been dying to make pot roast, one of my favorites, and that would probably be the first thing I use the Nesco roaster oven for.

  10. so, i live and my cousin lives in an itty bitty apt in brooklyn so this would def solve the ‘battle for use of the oven’ war that we have going on right now! i would love to make a nice hearty (but healthy) casserole to see how this baby works!

  16. We eat a lot of roasted chicken. I hate making it in the summer because it makes my kitchen hot. This looks like it would be perfect.

  22. Wonderful appliance. So glad to see it redesigned (smaller) and back on the market. We had a big one when I was growing up 60 years ago and it was always in use.
