The Gimme Some Oven giveaways continue today with this sweet 6-quart Red Roaster Oven from Nesco.
What does a roaster oven do, you might ask? Well, it pretty much does everything your oven does except broil. It bakes (with adjustable temperature controls up to 425 degrees F), steams, and of course, slow cooks. Amazing! You can use it to make everything from roast beef, to stews, to seafood, rice, veggies, lasagna, meatloaf, desserts, and even bread. My kind of multi-tasking appliance. :)

As a newly wed, the Nesco oven would be a great addition to our kitchen. We would love to make many of the recipes from all of our new cook books, including yummy lasagna, roasted chicken, roasted vegetables, chili and …. Desserts!

I’ve always wanted a Nesco roaster because my grandmother and mother, as well as several of my aunts all have one. I really don’t know yet what I would make in it, it’s a purchase I’ve decided to delay until I have more than 2 people living in my houseor I start entertaining.
