  2. I keep it simple by planning out meals for the week that are variations of each other. i.e. mostly chicken dishes, salads, ex. That way I only have to turn on the oven once a week to make a bunch of chicken at once. It’s a real lifesaver in the summer heat.

  6. I keep it simple by using in season produce and adding other flavorful ingredients. This ups the flavor without a lot of extras.

  7. Being organized in the kitchen is a great time saver for me. Menu planning then making a grocery list before shopping sets the foundation for organization. Planning on using left overs, especially meat also saves time and money.

  8. I like to keep it simply smart by pre-chopping basic ingredients like oinion, green pepper, jalapeno, and celery and keep them in the freezer in glad resealable containers. When making meals I can leave it out on the counter for about 10 minutes and then use a spoon to remove what I need. Then, I pop it back in the freezer until the next time. Saves on prep time and budget.

    I love your blog. Thanks.

  9. I love this list! I keep things smart by actually having some basic pantry staples on hand to throw together a few different meals and by cooking a large batch of meat and freezing the rest for later.

  10. i love that i use fresh veg in fruit

  11. I try to enlist everyone’s help in the kitchen. I also ask for input on what we’re having so I don’t get any grief about what I’m making. And if someone doesn’t want what I’m making, they can make their own meal. No sort order cooking here,

  16. I tweeted here: https://twitter.com/MsTofuFairy/status/238360700945321984

  19. I’m obsessively organized so I make the most of my time in the kitchen by having everything organized, plan meals, do ahead/in bulk as much as possible and shop with a list at the grocery store.

  20. I redid the contents of my cupboards & drawers so that I have the things I use most closest to where I use them.

  22. One way I like to keep it simple is while I’m cooking dinner, I always clean up as I go. Once a food box/package is empty, throw it away. As soon as I’m done with a pot, pan, etc I wash it out and put it in the sink/dishwasher. By the time dinner is ready all I have left to do is clean up the counter top and stove

  26. I do the meal planning and the 30 minute meals.

  27. I do meal planning for every week so i get in and out of the kitchen! Thanks for a super giveaway!
