DIY Christmas Ornament Vase

It’s Christmas time at Quay Coffee! For those of you who don’t know, my husband and I are co-owners of a little coffee shop in the River Market of Kansas City. The shop just got into the Christmas spirit and is looking so cheery! Cory and Vanessa (our partners and co-owners of Quay) created these adorable ornament vases! I couldn’t believe how simple and cute these are! They gave the tables just a touch of Christmas without getting too over the top. Vanessa has a knack for turning something simple into something beautiful.
The great thing about these too are that they are really inexpensive! She used a plastic clear ornament, potting soil, a small live christmas tree branch and some rope shaped into a circle. I think they could even be cute using mini ornaments to have as individual table settings. You could even replace the soil with water and glitter to give a shimmer to it! So many options!
Has everyone started Christmas decorating? Anyone rushing to the store to grab clear ornaments now? I know I am!
Love this simple idea! Storing it away for next Christmas in my new place!
I saw these yesterday at Quay. So cute!!! And those photos look magical! :)
Love the photos especially the glowing christmas lights. Gotta love Christmas! Thanks Liz.
Great job Vanessa! Simple is so elegant. I also love the last name choice! :)
So cute! Definitely going to try these!
So cute! May have to whip some of these up for the Phelps home! Also love the Christmas feel at Quay I need to come by some evening to enjoy the lights!
Ahh yes!! Come by! :)
THis is so cool & eco friendly!
This is such a clever idea! Love it
I love this idea! It’s so adorable! I have pine trees in my backyard- if I cut off a branch, would that work?
Also, has your tree been growing? Just curious as to whether it would die or not
That would work! And I don’t think they grow, but they definitely stay alive much longer in water. :)
I love this!!!
