Working at a coffee shop we tend to have a lot of coffee beans lying around! I’m always trying to find fun ways to incorporate coffee into our daily decor. I love the look of the coffee bean votives, but wanted something a little more festive. I think the touch of paint gave these beans exactly the makeover they needed!
What you’ll need:
- Coffee beans
- Paint brush
- Acrylic paint of your choice
What you’ll do:
- Gather your supplies
- Paint one side of the coffee bean with a paint of your choice
- Add a second coat of paint if desired
- Let paint dry
- Display bean in votive jar or container of your choice
I love how vibrant the painted beans look alongside the regular coffee beans. It gives such a nice contrast and the colors really pop!
I love how versatile these votives are! I can see them being a great gift for a teacher or friend. They are cute to just sit on a shelf as decor, but they also would make such a romantic table setting for a Valentine dinner for two!
Have you made any special Valentine’s day plans?
I love this!! Such a good decoration for any season!
This is such a cute idea! And I agree with Becca – could be fun for lots of other holidays too! :)
