This year I really want to focus on being more thankful in my day to day life. I want to look back at my year and see all that I have been blessed with. One of my all time favorite bloggers Ashley Ann created a daily calendar to document her favorite points of each day and it inspired me to do something very similar. I think often we go throughout our days without stopping to realize how much we have been given. I made up a calendar where I can record each day something that I am thankful for. I feel it’s only fitting to start this on Thanksgiving!
Here’s what you will need:
- Printer
- Cardstock
- Paper Trimmer
- Stamp Pad
- Alphabet Set (Stamps)
- Patterned Cardstock (Scrapbook pattern of your choice)
- Lace Scraps or Ribbon
- Yarn
- Magnet (optional)
- Hole Punch
- Gift Tag
- 2 Metal Book Rings
- Hot Glue
- Glue Gun

Here’s what you do:
- Print out all four pages of the calendar onto cardstock
- Trim the edges and cut apart each month using the paper cutter (I trimmed excess off of both outside edges)
- Once each month is cut punch holes in both top corners of each month, making sure to keep them all lined up.
- Afterwards, I took a stamp pad and gently brushed all the edges of the paper to create a worn look.
- Cut down your patterned paper to the same size as your calendar and punch holes (Make a front and back) I chose to add a magnet option to the back of mine, but that is not necessary if you would rather just hang it from the metal rings. Assemble your calendar and attach metal rings to keep it all together.
- I wrapped some lace, yarn and a tag around the cover for fun, but if you’d like you can just leave it as is! This would be a great gift this year or even a stocking stuffer. :)
What’s a way that you remember to be thankful?
