If Friday’s wide opening of Zero Dark Thirty (see my review here) has you craving more Bigelow ASAP, here’s what’s available on The Internets right now:
The Hurt Locker
The 2008 six-Oscar-winning film was Bigelow’s first outing with screenwriter Mark Boal. You could say the partnership was a success.

iTunes: $4.99 to rent (HD), $19.99 to buy (HD); $3.99 to rent (SD), $14.99 to buy (SD)
K-19: The Widowmaker
This submarine thriller from 2002 had mixed reviews…but, come on… Captains Ford AND Neeson? I remember liking this one just fine.
Amazon Instant Video: $2.99 to rent, $9.99 to buy
iTunes: $3.99 to rent (HD), $17.99 to buy (HD); $2.99 to rent (SD), $9.99 to buy (SD)

Blue Steel
Nope, this isn’t Zoolander’s famous stare. It’s a crime thriller starring Jamie Lee Curtis as a NYC rookie cop that came out in 1990. It has a pretty decent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes (78%) and a strong female lead, so, yeah, I’m going to give this one a try.
Amazon Instant Video: $2.99 to rent, $9.99 to buy
iTunes: $2.99 to rent, $9.99 to buy

Bigelow’s older films are harder to find on multiple channels online, but iTunes does have 1991’s surfing/cop classic Point Break ($2.99 to rent, $9.99 to buy; $14.99 to buy HD), and the 1987 horror film Near Dark shows up on both iTunes ($9.99 to buy) and Amazon Instant Video ($1.99 to rent, $9.99 to buy).
