Magimix Food Processor #Giveaway | gimmesomeoven.comI have a fun surprise for you! After featuring my favorite Magimix food processor in a post this past weekend featuring my Favorite Small Kitchen Appliances, I’m super excited that we are also going to be giving away a brand new Magimix 12-Cup Food Processor to one of you!

Without a doubt, Magimix is known in the culinary world as the leader when it comes to food processors — especially since they created the first food processor!! Their food processors are beautifully designed, innovative, incredibly well-made, and their motors are backed with a 30-year warranty. Talk about a company standing by their products!

I have included all sorts of details about this specific 12-cup model below, which comes with 3 different sizes of work bowls and a dozen different accessories. It is valued at $440, but Magimix has recently partnered with Chef’s Catalogue and you can now buy this model online there for $330. I’ve long said that Magimix food processors are an investment, but — in my opinion — they are worth every cent when it comes to quality and longevity.

So read below to learn more, and scroll to the bottom to enter the giveaway for a chance to win a Magimix food processor of your own!

  34. Wow! would I ever love to win this! I would make everything that I make now in my ancient 25+ year old Cuisinart (which I use all of the time). LOL! I think my Cuisinart is the first model ever made!

  35. What to make first….wow, that’s hard. Probably a salsa. Either my cheat red salsa or my fiery green salsa— either is delish!

Red Salsa: mince garlic, onion, and serrano pepper; add Muir Glen Fire-Roasted Tomatoes plus a touch of sugar/sweetener and pulse; finally, add a handful of cilantro leaves (I remove the stems) and pulse a bit more; you want it slightly chunky

Fiery Green Salsa: peel and mince 4 heads (not teeth) of garlic, 2-3 habanero peppers, 1/2 an onion, plus 2 jalapeños (or serranos for extra heat); add 4 tomatillos (be sure to unwrap and wash) and just let the food process run to liquify everything (about a minute); next add 1-2 bunches of rough chopped cilantro (stems included) and let the food processor run again until everything is teeny tiny. Need more liquid to process? Add more tomatillos. Watch out when you taste it…a little goes a long way!
