Description
This mint pea hummus recipe is easy to make in 10 minutes and perfectly balanced with sweet and savory flavors.
Ingredients

- 1 (15 ounce) can chickpeas*, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed
- 1/2 cup good-quality tahini
- 1/4 cup cold water, or more if needed
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons freshly-squeezed lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon each: black pepper and ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 2 medium garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
- 20–25 medium fresh mint leaves, to taste
Instructions
- Blend. Combine all ingredients in a food processor. Purée for 2 minutes or until smooth, pausing to scrape down the sides of the bowl as needed.
- Season. Taste and season with additional salt, lemon juice and/or mint if needed.
- Serve. Serve immediately and enjoy!
