Description

This vanilla rose latte recipe is quick and easy to make with a lovely hint of floral flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/2 cups plain milk, dairy or plant-based (I used oat milk)
  • 2 teaspoons rose water
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • edible dried rose petals (optional garnish)

Instructions

To Make A Hot Rose Latte:

  1. Steam. Combine the milk, rose water, maple syrup, vanilla extract and ginger in a milk frother and heat until warm and frothy. Or heat the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat until nearly simmering, and whisk until frothy.
  2. Add extra sweetener if needed. Give the latte a taste and add extra sweetener, if needed.
  3. Serve warm. Serve immediately, garnished with dried rose petals if you would like, and enjoy.

To Make An Iced Rose Latte:

  1. Combine. Combine the milk, rose water, maple syrup, vanilla extract and ginger in a large glass with ice and stir until evenly mixed.
  2. Add extra sweetener if needed. Give the iced latte a taste and add extra sweetener, if needed.
  3. Serve cold. Serve immediately, garnished with dried rose petals if you would like, and enjoy.
