site updates!

Hey hey! We’ve made some fun new updates to the site (with more to come). So if you have a few minutes, take a moment to look around! :-)

Here’s a quick summary of what’s new….

Recipe Index – Hooray! We now have a central page with all of the recipes listed out by category. Some of my favorite recipes were some of the originals, so take a second to scroll down and check them out!

How To: These posts have been some of the favorites on the site, so we now have an entire page devoted to them. Many more are on the way this year, but if you ever have requests, send them my way! :)

Giveaways: Also have a new page devoted to giveaways. So keep your eyes on this one for new updates!

Photography: I also receive quite a few emails about photography. So here’s a brief FAQ from this (amateur!) photographer.

Food Talk: Much more to come with this section! But look for the new “Mailbox Monday” feature, in which I’ll start going through my inbox with some reader questions. As well as the “Review” page, with product and new ingredient reviews. “Experiences” will feature any fun foodie events I get to experience. And finally, would love for you to check out the “Blogroll” — featuring so many of the amazing bloggers out there who I love to follow. :)

Amazon Shop: I’ve posted some of my favorite cookbooks, kitchen items, food reads (and films!), and photography equipment in the Gimme Some Oven Amazon Store. Same terrific Amazon prices — but recommended and organized by moi. :-)

Contact: I love emails!!! So if you ever have any comments, questions, or recipe suggestions/requests to make — I’d love to hear from you!

Stumble Upon, Twitter & RSS: Finally, feel free to “Stumble” anything on the site that you like! Or check out Gimme Some Oven on Twitter. Or, sign up for the RSS feed to receive all updates on the site. (And if you look closely, you’ll see that these buttons are each cute little potholders — I love it!)

And Helen — I sooooo vote that you go for it! I love Blogger (did a photoblog there for a year), but WordPress gives endless more potential for creativity (and flexibility). I think you’ll love it!
