If you are just now tuning in, today is part 2 of our kitchen remodel. Last week I posted the before photos and showed our crazy evening of clearing out the cabinets. Today though we get right down to it and tear those suckers out!
Tanner has been working all hours of the night creating my dream kitchen. He has had a lot to juggle with owning a coffee shop and working 55+ hours a week, but he has been so great throughout these past couple weeks. I have a crush on that boy.
Enough with my heart-in-a-puddle stories though. Let’s rip these cabinets outta here!
So this is where we left off last week…
Ok, let’s be honest it was more like this:
But luckily, we managed to get all of our stuff into a temporary location and were ready to get those cabinets out! Tanner removed all of the top cabinets during his lunch break and then my dad came down and pulled out the bottom cabinets. Thanks dad! :)
What should we do with the old cabinets? Oh I don’t know just stack them up as high as they will go in the entryway. Seems safe to me. (not to be confused with a doorway)
Oh hey Dad, I may have taken a photo of you without you knowing…
And just in case any of you are feeling bad about how messy your house is, here is a glimpse of our second bedroom.
Just close the door and walk away…
So here it is with all the cabinets officially out and ready for the new ones to be installed.
And here are the beauties themselves. Apparently with heaven shining down upon them. (What can I say, our living room gets a lot of afternoon light!)
Get ready for the installation process as the next update! I know…total cliff hanger here. ;)
Love this line, “I have a crush on that boy.” Stinkin cute. I am excited to see the final installment on this series, way to keep up hanging and wanting more ; )
