Calling all chocolate-lovers!!! :)

Allow me to introduce you to Chocomize — a fabulous site that allows you to customize your own chocolate bars. It’s true! You literally get to choose your blank canvas (white, milk, or dark chocolate), and then with a few clicks, you can “decorate” it with whatever favorite ingredients you love! Brilliant!!!

The folks at Chocomize kindly let me have some fun on their site and design a few of my own bars, which was a total delight. I went with a dark chocolate bar (sprinkled with cinnamon, cayenne, and coffee beans!), and a white chocolate bar (with these gorgeous dried flower pieces and macadamia nuts), and then they also sent along their popular s’mores bar (pictured above). I may or may not have raced home to check the mail the day they arrived… :)

Sure enough — they are absolutely amazing! Such great quality chocolate, and designs were so cute! I can’t wait to order more. They would be the absolute perfect gift to customize for your friends, or to give them a gift certificate to go design their own!

Anyway, the best news of the day is that Chocomize is offering a $25 gift certificate for one lucky Gimme Some Oven reader to have their own chocolate fun! AND, everyone can have 10% off your order at Chocomize if you enter in the coupon code ‘gimmesomeoven’ at the checkout. Sweet!!!

  1. YUM!!! I love Almond Joy. If I could make my own chocolate bar, it would include dark chocolate, hazelnut and cranberries.

  2. If I was going to build my own chocolate bar… it would be milk chocolate, with toffee, caramel pieces, sour dried cherries, and pop rocks. Yum! :)

  3. dark chocolate all the way, baby! throw in some sliced almonds, maybe some dried mango…

or maybe milk chocolate with marshmallows and sprinkles…

    or white chocolate with oreos.

    heavens to betsy.

  4. oh my… how amazingly tempting!
First, dark chocolate… then rasberries, mangoes and the dried flower mix :)

I reposted on facebook and I am a facebook fan :)

  5. I’ve wanted to buy some Chocomize goodies for a while! My ideal would be a White Chocolate Raspberry Mocha bar: white chocolate base topped with dark chocolate chips, ground coffee, and dried raspberries. :)

  6. Mmm, chocolate to my specifications! Let’s chocomize!

My favorite chocolate bar would be milk chocolate with peanut butter drops and cinnamon powder.

  15. I’ve really been enjoying sea salt chocolate lately. Also, chocolate with earl grey tea leaves! Elizabeth at Sahagun Chocolates also created a sunflower butter chocolate drop that made me incredibly happy.

As to what I’d design myself, I’m not sure. Something flirting with savory, I think. (Chocolate with bacon was a one-time favorite of mine, too.)

  16. I think the real question is clear, can you use bacon as a decoration? If so, I’d definitely go for some dark chocolate and bacon. For some reason I can’t get enough of salty sweet combos, recently…
