First Christmas together. A little grainy, but very happy. :)

Reading The Skimm first thing every morning. Best daily news email ever.

Listening to even more Christmas music (if that’s possible) than usual this year, courtesy of dating a guy who’s a Snow Globe.

Learning everything about Teddy and Franklin Delano, via Ken Burns’ 7-part documentary on Netflix. Fascinating.

Digging everything made by this ethical and sustainable brand, especially this cute dress(<– Those are affiliate links, if you’d like to check them out!)

Feeling extra thankful lately for my Burmese refugee friend, SiSi, and for her generous gift to Kansas City.

Giving out my favorite savory treat to friends for Christmas this year, in lieu of cookies.

Tuning in daily to read the courageous stories being shared right now on HONY.

Trying to decide a subject for my “Ebright Talk”, one of my favorite new family traditions.

Loving every word of this beautiful essay about responding to current events with hope.

  6. I love Threads for Thought too! I thought I was the only one, but glad to know I’m not. I’ve also decided that, with our food and fashion preferences, it’s a shame we don’t live in the same city. I could always used a new cooking/ shopping/ sharing buddy. You and your boyfriend are adorbs too!
