National Art Museum of Catalonia (MNAC)
What It Is:
A comprehensive collection of fine art spanning centuries coming from the region of Catalonia.
Where It’s Located:
Montjuïc | Google Map
Why We Love It:
In addition to the impressive collection, the museum is held in the former royal palace, and sits atop a hill which offers lovely views of Barcelona.
Other Tips:
- MNAC is also included in the Airticket BCN.
- If you’re traveling by metro, you can take the Funicular de Montjuïc from the metro stop Paral.lel. It’s a basic transfer if you have a metro card, so you won’t have to pay anything else. It puts you right by Miró Foundation, and about a 15 minute walk to the MNAC from there.
