I still can’t get over how cute and tiny these have become. Perfect for shuffling some fun tunes while you’re spending time in the kitchen during the holiday season — or working out afterwards to stay fit during the chilly winter months. :)

So read below for quick entry requirements, and check back at Gimme Some Oven this week for an “apple recipe a day” and more opportunities to enter! Best of luck, and look forward to sharing a week of great recipes with you!

  1. When I was young my favorite, by far, was apple crisp. Since I’ve adopted my grandmother’s apple bread recipe (and my family has tried – albeit unsuccessfully – to perfect it), which has become my go-to apple treat (when not snacking on a fresh, Jonathan apple, that is)!

I’m already subscribed to the RSS feed, and I’m now a twitter follower and facebook fan, and I tweeted about the contest!

  2. Good old homemade applesauce is my favorite!

  3. I love apples pretty much any way, but overall there’s nothing like the crunch of biting into a plain, old, good, crisp apple.

  4. I subscribe via RSS! And lovin’ it!

  5. I LOVE Brown Apple Betty! LOVE IT! I could eat that all day.

  6. I am a sucker for a good crisp or cobbler! Warm apples with some cinnamon and some toasty oats or granola! YUMMY!

  21. One of the only things I can bake (besides frozen chocolate chip cookie dough from the store) is a homemade apple pie – that’s how I like my apples! The kitchen turns into a disaster and I’ve tried every crust from frozen, to oil/wheat flour, to Crisco (I know, kinda bad for ya). Pack in the Granny Smith apples, put egg whites on top of the crust, bake and sprinkle some cinnamon …

  22. I love Apple Crisp

  23. This is the time of the year when it’s so easy to add cooking apples to that pan of pork chops, or toss them into bran muffins or just about anything, so I love reading what you suggest! My newest find is a cake using lots of apples, cranberries, walnuts and stirring it all together so I don’t even have to use my mixer!!! I feel almost like I’m eating a health food with this cake!
