Looking for a sunny cocktail to toast to this weekend?
This recipe is your new everything. ☀️??
Seriously. It’s a smoothie + a mimosa + a refreshing glass of OJ….all in one! And, it only takes a few minutes to whip up. And with it’s delicious tropical flavors, your first sip is pretty much guaranteed to have you feeling all of those beachy vibes…wherever life may find you. (You know, like right in the heart of the Midwest…about as far away from a beach as possible. ?)
Let’s raise a glass of this mimosa smoothie together, shall we?
First things first. When it comes to a good mimosa, you’ve gotta have top-quality orange juice. And as I’ve mentioned on here before, my fridge is always stocked with Florida’s Natural® Brand Orange Juice, which I love because it is not-from-concentrate and made purely with fresh oranges grown in sunny Florida. And…it’s delicious. You can really taste the difference.
Add a cup of it to your blender…
Then for a “tropical” twist to this mimosa, we’re also going to add in some frozen pineapple (or you could use mangoes), frozen banana and coconut milk, along with a good scoop of Greek yogurt for extra creaminess and protein. Blend that all up until smooth.
Then pour in dat bubbly. ? ? ?
And be sure to stir it in (don’t blend it!), so that you don’t use all of those bubbles.
Then cheers! This delicious brunch cocktail will be ready to serve and enjoy!
Perfect for the weekend, any good brunch, or anytime you happen to be needing a little extra tropical sunshine in your life. ?
This sounds wonderful, but I’m thinking of adding sparkling water, or something like that in place of the champagne, because we would never get through a whole bottle of champagne, and I’d only want to make half the recipe – we don’t entertain. Although, if my sister visits again, this would be a good thing to make… I am really not sure about consuming alcohol for breakfast at this point in my life, either. This would also be a great snack.
Looks Delicious and Perfect smoothie recipe there :). Actually, this is my first time to made this type of mix smoothie. My 10 years girl love this pineapple and banana smoothie on her breakfast. We are planing to make it in our family hangout.
There is fruit in this, SO I’m totally making it for breakfast right now.

Oh my! I could use one of these. I’ve got oranges on my tree! After dealing with Harvey, I could use one, or fifteen of these!
Sounds perfect for our next hurricane party! Yes, in Florida, we throw hurricane parties. And they always have alcohol, haha.
