15 Easy Brunch Recipes | #breakfast #brunch

In a perfect world (well, in my perfect world), brunch would be its own food group.

It’s pretty much what I look forward to most on the weekends, whether I’m making it myself, or indulging in someone else’s endeavors. Ahh, it’s a dream. I mean, what could be better than sleeping in, killing breakfast and lunch with one stone, and enjoying an adult beverage before 5 o’clock?

One of the best things about brunch, in my book, is that I don’t have to choose between savory and sweet (which sometimes feels like choosing my favorite child, if I had one). Why choose one, when you can experience the happy union of both? There’s a reason we put maple syrup on pancakes…so our bacon doesn’t feel lonely. Just saying. Another wonderful thing about brunch is that it’s the perfect precursor to a luxurious afternoon nap. You worked hard all week, you deserve that nap!

Well the nice thing about these 15 easy brunch recipes is just that…they’re easy. You can sleep in and not have to stress about slaving away in the kitchen, and whittling away your weekend. Overnight yeasted waffles with banana-rum topping? A BLT sandwich on a biscuit? A frittata-waffle hybrid? Yes, please, and thank you.

Happy weekend, and happy brunching!
