Magimix Food Processor #Giveaway | gimmesomeoven.comI have a fun surprise for you! After featuring my favorite Magimix food processor in a post this past weekend featuring my Favorite Small Kitchen Appliances, I’m super excited that we are also going to be giving away a brand new Magimix 12-Cup Food Processor to one of you!

Without a doubt, Magimix is known in the culinary world as the leader when it comes to food processors — especially since they created the first food processor!! Their food processors are beautifully designed, innovative, incredibly well-made, and their motors are backed with a 30-year warranty. Talk about a company standing by their products!

I have included all sorts of details about this specific 12-cup model below, which comes with 3 different sizes of work bowls and a dozen different accessories. It is valued at $440, but Magimix has recently partnered with Chef’s Catalogue and you can now buy this model online there for $330. I’ve long said that Magimix food processors are an investment, but — in my opinion — they are worth every cent when it comes to quality and longevity.

  2. I would love to make pizza dough and sauces in this! the variety of attachments makes possibilities endless, and I’m loving the 3 different size bowls!

  3. Pie crust. So much pie crust.

  4. Oh my my my! We don’t have a food processor at home, and I think it’s crazy because I’m always in the kitchen cooking or baking something. I always just use a blender when a recipe calls for the use of a food processor, but it just isn’t the same. The first thing I would do with my own Magimix Food Processor is make a huge batch of very healthy pesto! :)

  5. This would be awesome to make pie dough and hummus in!

  6. I would love to make smoothies and hummus. This looks like a fabulous blender!!!

  7. I would make lots of pie crust!

  8. I have never had a food processor before, but have always wanted one. :) I think I’d make sauces and doughs. Thanks for the chance to win one!

  9. I would make curry!

  10. soups for the fall!

  11. I would love to experiment with different smoothie recipes. I’d also like to use it to make my own nut butters, flours, etc.!

  12. first thing I make would probably be hummus, my current food processor just can’t get it as smooth as I would like.
then maybe some morning glory muffins, all the apples and carrots and zucchini that recipe needs make it really difficult to make it by hand.

  13. I don’t have a food processor…so I’m not sure all of the things that I would like to make. One thing would definitely be hummus. I feel like I could make a great one without having to pay so much at the grocery store for a small container.

  14. I would use it to make pesto! It would make that so much easier!

  15. I would use it to make doughs… maybe a pizza dough!

  16. Pie crust for a apple pie

  17. You name it: pie crust, chopped veggies for pasta sauce, grated cheese, pureed vegetables, and every kind of juice imaginable!

  18. Definitely pizza dough and pie crust!

  19. There are soooo many options.
First one that crossed my mind was salsa and feta dip.
I love to make all kinds of different kind of pesto from sun dried tomatoes to the traditional basil pesto.

  20. I would make whatever I could! Sauces, crusts, juices!

  21. Oh my….the possibilities are unlimited! I think I would have to make pesto first since I have an abundance of basil in my garden at the moment. This food processor would certainly make it so much easier! Then I’d make hummus and salsa. Yum!

  22. I would use it to make avocado pesto!

  23. either almond butter or some kind of suace for pasta

  24. This would open up a world of things. I cannot always effectivley chop veggies because of a disability in my right hand. I never thought my love of cooking would be challenged!

  25. Rumballs. because grinding up the nuts is what blew out my old food processor!

  26. Wow as I get more into cooking real food, I learn more about what appliances I’ll spend a pretty penny one. This is one of those things. Thanks for offering this up!

  27. So many things! Bread, crackers, salsa, pesto, hummus, homemade Lara bars…I would pretty much be in heaven. :)

  28. this is awesome! Thanks!

  29. I just finally trashed my larger food processor because it was officially broken beyond While I love my little one, I miss the simplicity of blending so much at once!

  31. My son is going to CIA this year. Would love to give it to tghe tatooed chef: Owen.

  32. Would love to finally have a food processor that works properly.

  33. What would I make? zucchini bread! I love shredding things with a food processor — super fast and easy.

  34. Ah! What wouldn’t I make!
I think first on my list would be homemade bread! I’ve been wanting to try that for a while now

  35. I’m not sure what I’d make with it. I’ve always wanted one and I have a ton of recipes that want to use one. I’m sure I’d find something fabulous.

  36. This is such a great product! I’ve been lusting over this for so long!

  37. This sounds great!

  38. Carrot soup! I had some amazing carrot soup in Paris once and its always haunted me but since fall is coming it might be time to start finding the best one.

  40. Definitely hummus, salsa, or ratatouille :)

  41. Love it! I would use this for everything- sauces, soups, guacamole, hummus, baking, slicing, dicing…

  42. I would make some gazpacho with this!

  43. I would LOVE to win this! My food processor is on it’s way out. I use it for nut butters, simple pancakes, and more. It would be great to have one that had a longer shelf life than my current one! Thank you for the opportunity!

  44. I’ve never made homemade pasta sauce, and I’d like to try that.

  45. Oh my – the tomatoes are very late in our area this year and my kitchen and I are about to be buried in them. Salsa, salsa, and more salsa would find its way into this food processor. My current one has issues and the replacement parts I need are not available because (gasp) my unit is obsolete!

  46. i will not use it i will give it to my mom

  47. I’ve been shopping for a food processor! This would be perfect!! Thank you for the chance!

  48. Wow! Looks awesome.

  49. Hummus!! It would also come in handy when I make my own pumpkin purée this fall.
