Instant Pot

I’m completely obsessed with this, and can’t recommend it enough. It’s a pressure cooker, slow cooker, rice maker, steamer, warmer, and saute pan all in one!

KitchenAid 6-Qt Stand Mixer

This is my favorite item in the kitchen — my stand mixer. It does everything! And I love the 6-qt size.

Magimix Food Processor

I’ve owned this 14-cup food processor for years, and it is a force. So sturdy, so powerful, and I love the attachments.

Blentec Blender

If you’re going to invest in a high-powered blender, I highly recommend Blendtec. They’re reliable, powerful, and they include fantastic warranties.

Crock-Pot 4-Quart Slow Cooker

This is the smaller slow cooker that I’ve had forever. It’s not programmable, but it’s affordable and gets the job done well.

Crock-Pot 6-Quart Slow Cooker

My favorite large slow cooker! It’s fully programmable, and the bowl is stovetop safe for searing or sauteing ingredients before slow cooking if needed.

Cuisinart Ice Cream Maker

This appliances takes up quite a bit of storage space, but if you make ice cream regularly, it’s totally worth it!

Aroma Rice Cooker

I used to swear that rice cookers were non-essentials, but I use mine all the time and love it. This one’s affordable and never fails me.

KitchenAid 5-Speed Immersion Hand Blender

Perfect for blending soups, frothing milk, making whipped cream, and more.

Oster Belgian Waffle Maker

My favorite Belgian waffle maker that makes gorgeous (and delicious!) waffles.

Bonavita Coffee Maker

My coffee-shop-owner-friend recommends this as the automatic coffee maker that tastes most like pour-over. My good friends own one, and I agree that it’s the best-tasting coffee maker I’ve tried. Worth the investment!

Aeropress

If you’re looking for a short brew time (less than 1 minute!), I’m a big fan of Aeropress. It’s easy to use, less acidic, and delicious.

Hario V60 Kettle

The spout on this kettle is perfect for pour-over coffee. It’s also dishwasher safe.

Chemex (with Glass Handle)

My favorite way to make pour-over coffee. I especially love the design of this version with the glass handle, and they come in multiple sizes. Be sure to buy filters (and good coffee!) to go along with it.

Mr. Coffee Automatic Burr Grinder

If you’re looking for a burr grinder, I’m convinced this one outperforms grinders 3x more expensive. It’s adjustable and does a fantastic job grinding. I use mine every day and recommend it to everyone!

Bodum 8-Cup French Press

I’ve had this French press since college, have used it probably thousands of times, and still love it. It’s beautiful, and also dishwasher safe.

French Press

I’ve owned a couple of these over the years, and this plastic/glass version from Bodum seems to have outlasted the others by a mile. It’s well made, it’s dishwasher-safe, and it makes delicious French press coffee like a pro.
